This course is intended as an introduction to damp, mould and condensation issues in domestic dwellings. It is designed to raise awareness of the causes and effects of damp and mould and the mitigations that can be implemented to improve conditions.
We have a collective responsibility to improve our housing stock due to the associated health and welfare issues caused by damp, mould & condensation, that have huge impacts and costs for society, our NHS and our places of work, as tragically demonstrated by the death of Awaab Ishak.

On-line, self-paced, for you to complete at your convenience. We have support on hand during office hours, throughout your learning journey to answer any questions, queries, or technical issues you may need assistance with.
Course Eligibility Requirements
You must be 18+ otherwise there are no specific course eligibility requirements. Interest in building, or building industry experience may be advantageous.
Assessment
Once you have completed the online learning and successfully achieved the required pass marks for the end of section quizzes, you will be required to complete and pass an externally invigilated exam via an on-line portal to gain your certificate.
